| art in resistance!
Sat, February 19, 2 p.m., Graben at Pestsaeule call As democratic and open-minded artists and cultural workers we do not feel represented by this governement. As a token of resistance we are going to demonstrate the decline of cultural diversity in Austria in a joint action on February 19, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Graben, first district of Vienna. All artists are asked to participate in this event. We are going to meet at the "blue-black" Pestsaeule at Graben. Please bring your instruments, paintings, works, sculptures, costumes, cameras etc.., which will be veiled. Every 15 minutes the artists present will unveil their works and instruments and take action for only five minutes in order to keep silence again as desired by blue&black. From Graben we are going to head for the opera house where the protest march of artists and cultural workers will leave at 3:30 p.m. in the direction of Ballhausplatz.
